When this leading Australian law firm set out to fit out their new head office in the Melbourne CBD, the brief called for spaces that could handle everything from day-to-day meetings to high-profile events and functions, built around the firm's existing use of Zoom Rooms as its video conferencing platform. Working through the scope directly with the client's team, we delivered a full spread of spaces, from quiet rooms and focus zones through to a dedicated training room and boardroom, across a floor of over 3,300 square metres.

The smaller and medium spaces run on a scaled Logitech ecosystem operating on Collab OS, with Zoom Rooms as the primary platform. Room and asset scheduling sit within the same Logitech environment, with every device visible and manageable remotely through the Logitech Sync portal, giving the client full visibility of device health across the fleet from a single dashboard.

In the larger meeting spaces, we kept the familiar Logitech Tap interface for consistency, with a Crestron control system running the logic behind the scenes and the platform itself moving to Zoom Rooms on Windows to handle the additional processing demand. The boardroom runs on Q-SYS for audio processing, with two Shure MXA920 ceiling microphones and a Poly E70 multi-framing camera giving every participant, in the room an equal presence. The training room carries dual interactive displays, a room-facing multi-framing camera and a dedicated presenter-facing PTZ camera, with handheld and ceiling microphones for engagement with hearing augmentation built in throughout the floor. When the room reaches capacity, video and audio overflow into the adjoining breakout space, so nothing is lost for the people standing just outside it.

The strength of that result gave the firm the confidence to extend the same approach to their Sydney and Brisbane head offices, proof that a scaled, rational ecosystem can support everything from a quiet room to a high-profile event, with the same confidence throughout.
